The discovery: looking for the ovum

On April 13, we had performed to search an ovum under the ovary of pig at the room 331 where is a student's laboratory. We had been preparing it for two days. Han-Jung, the Teaching Assistant in Animal Reproductive Physiology's Laboratory, discovered the ovum from the pig's ovary, after all. Then Han-Jung showed us the ovum under the microscope. The ovum's shape was not as clear as it seems. However, we could certainly recognize that it was the ovum. We were very pleased by the discovery.

Unfortunately, we could not take a picture of the ovum appeared under the microscope for some reason. Follow one image is a sperm cell fusing with an ovum. It is taken from the Wikipedia [1].
